The device has an operating device (2) that when activated by an actuator (4) manually adjusts an air deflector (7) and an air flow cross-section contraction device (3) to control the flow of air via an air flow channel (1). A coupling device (6) mechanically couples the operating device with the contraction device. An indicator device (9) displays the position of contraction device and the contraction degree.
