<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which structures that meet specification can readily be prepared regardless of specification alteration without involving a cost increase, and the structure of an image forming apparatus main body is prevented from becoming larger and more complex even in the case where both power sources are mounted. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having a structure that has a high power consumption heat generation source 14 in it, the commercial power source and the DC power source 100 can be mounted as power sources to the heat generation source 14.
