<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for outputting an image stably to papers of a wide range of thicknesses and various media irrespective of image formation times. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes first and second conveying mechanisms 33, 34 or 35 positioned with a predetermined interval, and further is provided with a feed roller and separating roller. or a conveying roller for feeding an output medium for supporting a developed image in a predetermined position for holding the developed image, a cassette for housing the output medium, a plurality of sensors 134, 135 for detecting a time for conveying the output medium between the cassette, feed roller, and separating roller or the conveying roller.
