<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method and an apparatus for decomposing dioxins capable of deciding the mist conditions of active water in a very short time as compared with the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: The dioxins-decomposing apparatus is provided with a decomposition rate computing unit 71 such as PC (personal computer) computing the decomposition rate by the active water of a reference material having the decomposition rate correlative with that of dioxins, a reference material densitometer 72 such as gas chromatography measuring the concentration of the reference material, a transfer device 73, a gas sampling pipe 74 in which a sampling mouth is positioned in a smoke passage 1 before a decomposition reaction tower 2, and a gas sampling pipe 75 in which a sampling mouth is positioned at an outlet of the decomposition reaction tower 2, and contains a first process of spraying the active water to a reference treating gas containing the reference material, and a second process of controlling the spraying conditions of the active water so as to advance the decomposition rate of the reference material measuring the change in concentration of the reference material in the reference treating gas before and after the spraying of the active water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
