USER IDENTIFICATION DEVICE AND EQUIPMENT DEVICE WITH USER IDENTIFICATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user identifying device which has simple, small-sized constitution and is capable of identifying a user through easy operation.

SOLUTION: The user identification device has a registeration means 27 capable of registering the output signal of a piezoelectric sensor 6 varying with the rhythm of tapping on an elastic body 7 by the user and an identifying means 28 of identifying the user according to how much current output matches the output registered by the registeration means 27. Consequently, the user can register himself or herself in the registeration means 27 by tapping on the piezoelectric sensor 6 with favorite rhythm and is identified only by tapping with the same rhythm as the rhythm at the time of the registration, thereby reducing the risk that a person who does not know registration content is identified as the user when tapping as the person likes.
