PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device the imaging element of which can be fixed to a body unit and also fixed to an electric board without causing a stress to the imaging element. SOLUTION: An imaging element 18 having a plurality of leads and converting an image into an electric signal is fixed to and supported by an imaging element support plate 19, which is then fixed to a front plate unit 10. Further, an electric board 20 having insertion holes 20c to which the leads of the imaging element 18 are inserted for the electric connection of the electric board 20 to the leads is placed in parallel with the imaging element support plate 19. Then the relative position between the leads 18a of the imaging element 18 and the insertion holes 20c of the electric board 20 is adjusted by fitting bosses formed to the front plate unit 10 to long-hole shaped openings 20a and a notch 20b formed to the electric board 20 and by tightening screws 3a.
