PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant which effectively removes various kinds of strange smell and malodor such as the smell of cigarettes and the smell of garbage consisting of various kinds of components. SOLUTION: The deodorant contains one or more kinds of components selected from glyoxylate metal salt and ketoacid metal salt as effective components.
