POLYMER DISPERSION IN POLYESTER POLYOL, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved polymer polyol based on a polyester polyol and suitable for the manufacture of a polyurethane, particularly for a microporous polyurethane. SOLUTION: The polymer dispersion comprises a product obtained by radical polymerization of (a) at least one olefinically unsaturated monomer in the presence of (b) at least one polyester polyol bearing no olefinically unsaturated groups and (c) at least one terminally hydroxylated prepolymer comprising a reaction product of (1) a tetrahydrofuran oligomer with (2) a half-stoichiometric amount of a polyisocyanate component.
