PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for soil particles and package filled with soil particles in the packaging material buried in the soil for application of growing garden or gardening and the like and granular ores such as obsidian perlite or pearl rock perlite used as soil reformation material and artificial soil, wherein the packaging material is not damaged while being accidentally decomposed through wetting with water during its transferring to a site and worked there and the perlite or the like to be filled is not separated in which an advantage of keeping its permeability is maintained and additionally even after embedding into the soil at the site through its work, the soil particles such as perlite to be filled can be positioned under a state that the soil particles are collected at the predetermined position in their packaged state. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a packaging material for use in packaging the soil granules and this is composed of a paper-made material 3 and a cloth 4 of synthetic resin.
