PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive in which pickup feeding operation, turntable up-and-down operation, and disk carrying operation are performed using a common drive source, and assembling workability is excellent. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive 1 has a feed gear 64 (first gear) engaging with a rack 57a integrally formed with an optical pickup 57, a tray gear (second gear) 13 used for moving a turntable 52 up and down and movement of a disk tray 12, and a motor 62 as a common drive source of them. The number of teeth of the feed gear 64 is equal to that of the tray gear 13, and rotation is transmitted from the feed gear 64 to the tray gear 13 such that a ratio of rotation frequency of the feed gear 64 to that of the tray gear 13 is 1.
