PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that satisfies toner flowability, electrostatic chargeability, developability, transferability and fixability, at the same time and over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The toner has coloring particles, which contain at least resin and coloring agents, and external additive agents, and is characterized in that at least the external additives contain resin fine particles the surfaces of which are covered with continuous layers of silica and the quantity average particle diameters Dn of the particles are 30-3,000 nm.
