PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm device which makes a sector for small diaphragm oscillate rock efficiently. SOLUTION: The diaphragm device includes a substrate 3, having a lens opening 4, a first sector 10 for small diaphragm having a first hole 13 for small diaphragm which changes diaphragm by shielding the lens opening 4 and a second sector 20 for small diaphragm having a second hole 23 for small diaphragm, is provided with a driving pin 5, which is engaged into cum grooves 12, 22 formed to each of the first and second sectors 10, 20 for small diaphragm and rocks the first and second sectors for small diaphragm, when the driving pin 5 is at an initial position; the first and second sectors for small diaphragm are at retracted positions retracted from the lens opening and the cum grooves of the first and second sectors for small diaphragm include a rocking area, in which the sector is guided to the lens opening according to the driving pin which moves from the initial position and a non-rocking area in which the sector is held at the retracted positions, when the other sector is guided to the lens opening.
