PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a vibration-proof effect in an initial stage of correction in an optical system wherein a correction optical system is moved simultaneously with exposure start. SOLUTION: An image shake correction device has; a shake detection means for detecting a shake state of an image on a camera; a shake correction means for correcting shake of the image on the camera on the basis of an output of the shake detection means; and a minute vibration signal generation means which is included in the shake correction means and generates a prescribed amount of minute vibration at intervals of a prescribed period, which is superposed on the output of the shake detection means in order to facilitate movement of the correction means.
