PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and jig for inserting a nut heated by the high frequency induction heating, by which method and jig, the nut can be inserted into a resinoid component at a proper temperature. SOLUTION: The inserting jig for inserting the nut heated by the high frequency induction heating into a hole drilled in the resinoid component beforehand is configured such that a cap shape inserting head 21 made of a nonmetallic material is provided on the tip end of an inserting rod 20 made of a nonmetallic material, and holes 24, 25 are drilled so as to axially penetrate the inserting rod 20 and the inserting head 21, and a thermocouple 22 is inserted into and fixed to the holes 24, 25 such that a hot junction 22a of the thermocouple 22 is brought into contact with the surface of the nut 27 set to the inserting head 21.
