PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a hydrogen storage body for obtaining a good deposition state even when the quantity of second particles is small when the second particles are deposited. SOLUTION: The method of producing the hydrogen storage body including first particles serving for the occlusion and release of hydrogen and the second particles combined to the first particles is provided with: a mixing process of obtaining a mixture composed of the first particles and second particles; and a combining process of repeating the processing of passing the mixture through a prescribed gap formed by a rigid body a plurality of times.
