PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an modified structure of a floating roof being excellent in functionality, safety, and reliability by providing an upper deck board so that when the floating roof of a floating roof tank of a single-deck structure is damaged by a partial breakage or the like, a stored liquid can be prevented from permeating the floating roof, the floating roof can be prevented from tilting resulting from the reduction of buoyancy, or from sinking, and thus, by modifying the floating roof into a floating roof of a double-deck structure of a double board, of which the construction is easy, and also, by taking consideration in the draining performance for rain water as well. SOLUTION: On the deck board which is a roof board located more internal side than the outer peripheral pontoon of the floating roof of the single-deck structure, an upper deck board is provided in a manner to be isolated from the deck board. The upper deck board is liquid-tightly connected with the upper end section on the internal side of the outer peripheral pontoon, and also, is arranged while being tilted into an upward gradient shape from the connected upper end edge on the internal side of the outer peripheral pontoon to the tank central section. Then, at the connected section between the upper deck board and the outer peripheral pontoon, a water collecting measure for roof drain which collects rain water and drains the rain water is provided.
