PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking container that enables easy drinking in a hygienic condition, with a single operation. SOLUTION: The drinking container is so constituted that, a straw inlet is provided on the outer surface of a container proper for preserving a beverage in a tightly-closed state, and a rotating body is provided upward in the proximity of the straw inlet, with a tubular outside straw being connected to the rotating body, and a connection means is provided between the straw and the container proper; while an inside straw is provided in the interior of the container proper, with the lower end of the inside straw being opened and the upper end thereof being closed, and a communicating portion is formed at a suitable position of the inside straw, the communication portion being located right below the straw inlet, thus the seal of the straw inlet is broken by means of the outside straw and the rotating movement of the rotating body, thereby the outside straw can be placed in communication with the inside straw.
