PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an operation device that can keep a gas spring free by minimizing the member of members and to eliminate variations in motion caused by coarse and fine assembly accuracy. SOLUTION: The device has an operation rod 49 with a lever 54 and a crank 49a and an L-shape operation body 46 that changes the rotation of the operation rod 49 to the pressing motion of a push valve 40. A plastic medium member 55 is relatively turnably fit in a crank 49a of the operation rod 49 so as not to be disengaged and is slidably fit in a bending part 46a of the operation body 46. When the operation rod 49 turns, the bending part 46a is pushed and the operation body 46 turns. In addition, when the lever 54 is turned, a catch 55a of the medium member 55 clamps the turning axis of the operation body 46 to hold it freely. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
