PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnably vertically movable rack apparatus which reduces the operation labor, and improves the operability. SOLUTION: This turnably vertically movable rack device 1 is equipped with a fixed frame 3 which is fixed to a wall surface H and the like, a movable rack 7 which is freely vertically movably attached to the fixed frame 3 through a parallel link mechanism 5, and an operation bar 9 which is attached to the movable rack 7. On the movable rack 7, a locking mechanism 11 which releases a locked state of the movable rack 7 by turning the operation bar 9 at a specified angle is provided. And the locking mechanism 11 is equipped with a locking claw 21 which is engaged with an engaging pin 19 provided on the parallel link mechanism 5, an urging means 39 which urges the locking claw 21 in a specified direction, and a connecting rod 33 which transmits the rotation of the operation bar 9 to the locking claw 21.
