PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering material for easily suppressing plant growth, that is, to provide a covering material for suppressing plant extension and growth, having suppressing action on plant extension and growth and excellent in weather-resistance. SOLUTION: This covering material for suppressing plant growth has≥50% permeability of photosynthetically effective photon flux (PPF) and≥1.3 value of the following A.
