PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing the clarithromycin resistance of Helicobacter pylori with a non-invasive testing method by utilizing a feces specimen which can be simply collected regularly without accompanying patients' pain. SOLUTION: This method for testing the clarithromycin resistance of Helicobacter pylori comprises extracting a DNA of the Helicobacter pylori from Helicobacter pylori antigen positive feces, preparing a mixed liquid of the extracted DNA with a primer consisting of base sequences described in sequence numbers 1 and 2 (in the specification), heating the mixed liquid, amplifying the 23SrRNA gene fragment of the Helicobacter pylori in the heated mixed liquid, measuring the mutation of the 23SrRNA gene sequence of the Helicobacter pylori positioned in the amplified gene fragment, and examining the clarithromycin resistance of the Helicobacter pylori by the presence or absence of the measured mutation.
