A printing substance (PS) (2) is impinged with a pressure burden in a storage reservoir tank (SRT) (1) linked to an injector plate (IP) (3) with a nozzle (4), near which the IP is held during operation at a temperature level below the melting point of the PS. On the IP's side opposite the SRT near the nozzle there is a heating element (5) to transfer heat energy to the nozzle when activated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A Braille symbol printer with a printing head; (B) and for a device for generating a three-dimensional shape according to a rapid prototype method.
