<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a foam roller having a dense foam diameter, reduced in the irregularity of the foam diameter/foam wall thickness, having no hardness irregularity, easy to demold and producing no parting line, and a manufacturing method of the foam roller having uniform quality using the foam manufactured by the foam manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A molded article containing a foaming agent before vulcanization and foaming is molded into a columnar shape so as to be incorporated in the cavity of a mold and the columnar molded object is arranged in the cavity of the mold and foamed by heating the mold.
