<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information to a card member at the time of validation of the card by the card member. <P>SOLUTION: Card members that are users of terminals 91-93 can connect with an information processing system 10 of a card company by use of the terminals 91-93, after they receive new cards or update cards which are still invalid at the point of time, to validate the cards. At that time, the information processing system 10 selectively provides one or more of a plurality of pieces of providing information (e.g., a commodity guide, a campaign guide) according to member information for each card member (e.g., whether the member is a new member or nor, the use result of the card, the age) and the communicating mode between the information processing system 10 and the terminals 91-93 to the card members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
