PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniature both housings in an insertion-coupled state. SOLUTION: The both housings 10, 20 in an insertion-coupled state are locked in a break-off-regulated state by locking of a lock arm 22 of the female housing 20 and a lock part 18 of a hood part 12. In breaking off the both housings 10, 20, an operating part 24 at a rear end part of the lock arm 22 is operated to release the lock arm 22 from the lock part 18 so as to have them in a lock-released state. With the both housings 10, 20 in the insertion-coupled state, the operating part 24 progresses into a notched part 17 formed at a front end edge of the hood part 12, so that the miniaturization can be realized in the insertion-coupling direction of the both housings 10, 20.
