PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air drier blowingly feeding negative ions from a plurality of parts of a brush unit and effectively sticking the negative ions to the hair. SOLUTION: A hollow and cylindrical body case 1 is constituted of a wind tunnel part 2 storing a blower fan 10 and a blowing part 4 storing an ion generator. An outlet 13 of the blowing part 4 is mounted with the brush unit with a group of bristles 40. The ion generator comprises two discharge electrodes 26 and a transformer 27 separately disposed in the blowing part 4. The brush unit 3 is opened with a drying air feed port 44 and two ion feed ports 46 provided corresponding to the respective discharge electrodes 26. When a virtual area Z surrounded with outlines of the respective ion feed ports 46 and an external tangent connecting the outlines is supposed in a bristle implanted surface of the brush unit 3, the bristles 40a are implanted on the wall face in the virtual area Z.
