Fastener of electric installation unit comprises holder (1) allocated to ceiling, or wall, with at least one first connecting element. To installation unit is allocated mechanical connector (3) with at least one second connecting element (73). Both connecting elements can be combined for fastening installation unit. Preferably, holder can be secured to wall, or ceiling by one or more securing element (33), which is integral with first connecting element. Mechanical connector may be socket, or body of lamp or luminair. Independent claims are included for electric installation unit and holder.
