Disclosed is an electromagnetic shielding material comprising a transparent base (11) and a mesh metal layer (21) arranged on one side of the transparent base (11) via an adhesive (13). The mesh metal layer (21) has a line portion (107) which defines opening portions (105). A first blackened layer (25A) and an anti-rust layer (23A) are sequentially formed on one surface of the line portion (107) of the mesh metal layer (21) on the side of the transparent base (11). A second blackened layer (25B) is formed on the other surface and lateral surfaces of the line portion (107) of the mesh metal layer (21).
