CLUSTER SYSTEM, CLUSTER MEMBER, FAILURE RECOVERY METHOD AND PROGRAM

A distributed processing control unit (17) decides a main processing range and a sub processing range which a local cluster member (1-i) is in charge of. A filter (12) passes a packet matched with the main processing range and the sub processing range to a session processing unit (13) among the packets multi-cast to the cluster system. The session processing unit (13) performs a session process (including updating of session information stored in a holding unit (14)). After this, if the packet is matched with the main processing range, it is passed to a packet transfer unit (15) and if the packet is matched with the sub processing range, it is discarded. When a failure has occurred in a cluster member in charge of the main processing for a packet whose sub processing is performed by the local cluster member (1-i), a failure recovery unit (20) changes the sub processing range to the main processing range.
