<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable access to the data of an HDD when the HDD is connected to the other image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 2 is connected to a personal computer 1 as a host device via a network and has an HDD 14 to accumulate data and has an HDD model sensing means 16 to sense the use of the HDD 14 used in the other model.
