PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro collimating lens system for optical communication which is easily manufactured and, moreover, is capable of reducing the unit cost of production. SOLUTION: The micro collimating lens system for optical communication comprises an optical fiber 20 which is aligned in a prescribed direction on a silicon substrate 10 and transmits an optical signal and at least two lenses 30, 40 aligned on the silicon substrate 10 so that the optical signal from the optical fiber 20 can be collimated at multiple stages.
