PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor wherein a winding structure can be easily formed on a core, using conductive plates. SOLUTION: The motor comprises a stator and a rotor, disposed substantially concentrically with the stator and rotated. Either the rotor or the stator comprises a plurality of magnetic poles, arranged in the circumferential direction and conductive plates, disposed in between the magnetic poles in a meandering pattern. A rotating magnetic field is formed in the circumferential direction by energizing these conductive plates. Alternatively, either the rotor or the stator is formed into a cylindrical shape, by arranging a plurality of magnetic pole units in the circumferential direction. The magnetic pole units have a plurality of magnetic poles, arranged in parallel in the axial direction and conductive plates disposed between the magnetic poles in a meandering pattern. A rotating magnetic field is formed in the magnetic poles in the circumferential direction by energizing these conductive plates. The motor is so constructed that the rotor is made to rotate by the attraction/repulsion of the rotor, and those of the stator to and from the stator and the rotor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
