PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing most appropriate for housing a battery pack. SOLUTION: This is the casing 10 for housing a group of batteries in which at least two kinds of batteries 42, 44, 46, 48 are connected in series. The casing has walls 22, 32 separating a space 110 where one kind of batteries 42, 44, 46 are housed and a space 112 where the other kind of battery 48 is housed. The first wall 22 and the second wall 32 are arranged with a distance in between. The space 110 is secured with airtightness and the space 112 is secured with breathability.
