PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify the direction of a destination without download of map information. SOLUTION: Location information which is the latitude and the longitude of a portable telephone 11 is transmitted to a server 21. The server 21 specifies the moving direction of the portable telephone 11 based on the location information received by a server control part 22 from the portable telephone 11, and calculates a differential angle with the direction of the destination. The server control part 22 displays the differential angle between the calculated moving direction of the portable telephone 11 and the direction of the destination on a display part 9, or outputs it by a voice from a speaker 2.
