PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting and positioning of a lens by simplifying a structure of a lens barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel is provided with a ring-like holder 40 for holding a lens G in one body by joining the outer peripheral surface G1 thereto, a cylindrical member 30 with the axial line in the direction of the optical axis to fix the holder 40 at a desired position in the direction of the optical axis, and a base 20 for fixing the cylindrical member 30; the holder 40 is formed with a male screw 42 having the axial line in the direction of the optical axis on the outer peripheral surface; and the cylindrical member 30 is formed with a female screw 31 for engaging the male screw 42 on the inner peripheral surface. Thus, the lens and the holder can be fixed to the cylindrical member while achieving simplification of the structure, and also the lens can be positioned at a desired position in the direction of the optical axis by fine adjustment by appropriately adjusting a screwing amount of the holder.
