PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct bias errors, with higher accuracy, generated in relation to the temperature, contained in the output of an optical fiber gyro. SOLUTION: The optical fiber gyroscope is equipped with a Sagnac interferometer 3, having a sensing coil of optical fiber, a temperature sensor 1 installed on the sensing coil, and a correction processing unit 21 correcting angular velocity data Bo, obtained from outputs of the Sagnac interferometer 3 through the following function A, based on the detected temperatures T from a temperature sensor 1. The correction processing unit 21 is composed from a corrected data table memory section 23 for storing the values of two parameter S<SB>T</SB>andρ<SB>T</SB>of the following function A at each temperature, a temperature derivative calculating section 21A for calculating the temperature derivative dT/dt from time derivative of the detected temperature from the temperature sensor 1, and a bias error correction calculating section 21B, in which after the parameter S<SB>T</SB>andρ<SB>T</SB>corresponding to the detected temperature from the temperature sensor 1 are readout of the corrected data table memory section 23, using the readout parameters S<SB>T</SB>andρ<SB>T</SB>concerned, the temperature derivative dT/dt calculated by the temperature derivative calculating section 21A, and the angular velocity data Bo, the value B of the following function A is calculated and then output the value B concerned as the corrected angular velocity data.
