PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC signal transmitting circuit which transmits a DC signal with positive and negative polarities in an insulating state by simple constitution, and can be used for a diode lighting circuit or an on/off rate detecting circuit for a pulse signal or the like. SOLUTION: A pulse width control circuit 1 transmits a control signal to a pulse signal generating circuit 2 in response to a DC input signal, and the pulse signal generating circuit 2 generates a pulse signal having an on/off rate in accordance with the DC input signal. The pulse signal is made to flow through a primary winding 3a of a transformer 3 to excite the transformer 3, and a pulse voltage which has a waveform similar to the pulse signal and is proportional to the ratio of the number of turns of the winding is induced in a secondary winding 3b of the transformer 3. When the amplitude of the induced pulse voltage is larger than that of the operation voltages of diodes D1 and D2, the pulse voltage is cut off by the amount of the operation voltages of the diodes, and then currents based on the cut-off pulse voltage are inputted to a capacitor C1, and smoothed, and outputted as a DC output signal.
