PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a communication terminal which avoids that a user forgets to push a telephone number. SOLUTION: If the communication terminal decides that no toll discriminating code "0" exists at the top of an already inputted telephone number and it is other than a specified number such as "110", "119", etc. when a numeral key "0" is pushed long at originating or during inputting a telephone number, it increases the inputted telephone number by one digit to shift this telephone number so as to empty its top digit and adds the toll discriminating code "0" to the emptied top digit, thus generating a proper telephone number. As the result, this solves the harmful effect that an originating telephone call is not connected with leaving a key "0" not inputted for the top of a telephone number, or the dial key operation is repeated from the beginning after once deleting all the inputted number, as the user realizes that the key "0" is not inputted for the top of a telephone number, thereby avoiding forgetting to press the telephone number.
