1. The method of producing melamine out of carbamide in a high-pressure process, where solid melamine is obtained from the melamine produced in a reactor and transported to a tank, where melted melamine is cooled down with ammonia. Unique characteristics: Obtained from a melamine reactor, melted melamine at the temperature between the melamine melting point and 450 degrees C is sprayed by means of spraying devices into a tank with ammonia environment under the pressure exceeding 1 MPa. Thus, the melted melamine is transformed into melamine powder at the temperature between 200 degrees C and the temperature of melamine solidification. The powder remains in contact with ammonia for the period of 6 seconds to 5 hours, under the pressure exceeding 1 MPa. The product has essentially the same temperature during the contact or it is cooled down, so that the product temperature exceeds 200 degrees C for the period of 6 seconds to 5 hours. The cooling process is carried out in the same tank or in a separate cooling tank. |
