A filter for limiting the condensation of gaseous components in small volume measurement chambers, comprises adsorption agents in a container in contact with the measurement chamber. The mass and adsorption capacity of the agent can be selected to remove selected components from a gas atmosphere. The filter has at least one channel which throttles the gas flow. Its primary opening is in contact with the inside of the filter, while its secondary opening is exposed to the gas atmosphere.
