The hydraulic vibrator (1) has a housing (3) enclosing a hydraulic motor (6) for driving a number of shafts (5) fitted with imbalance weights and a lubrication and cooling circuit for the shaft bearings (4), containing a first pump (10) driven by the hydraulic motor and a second pump (11) with an independent drive (12), which can be switched into operation ahead of the hydraulic motor.
