Finite element simulation for a technical system uses a data-processing facility, an electronic structural model, finite elements and tensile forces

Finite elements (FE) are generated (S1) for an electronic structural model (E1) of a technical system. Tensile forces (TF) occurring in the FE are determined via FE simulation (S2,S3). Each FE is detected, which is a plane element (PE) and not a rigid body element and its TF exceed (S5) a preset TF limiting value (LV). An element LV is fixed for each non-triangular PE determined. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A method for a finite element simulation for a technical system; (B) and for a computer program product to be loaded directly into a computer's internal memory.
