Self-adhesive tattoo plasters or conventional plasters contain an active agent (A) in powder form or in a lipophilic or hydrophilic ointment base, where (A) are selected from agents for combating sports injuries, antiinflammatories for combating pruritis and allergic reactions of the skin, antiinflammatories for combating acute or chronic inflammatory dieases of the respiratory tract and/or (in the case of tattoo plasters only) antibacterial agents. Self-adhesive tattoo plasters have a shaped outer edge (e.g. shading or contour) forming an image (e.g. abstract forms such as lines, scrolls, geometric or stylized shapes, waves, symbols or fantasy images; natural shapes such as plants, animals, figures or planets; comic figures; or articles such as cars, aeroplanes, sports articles or toys); are shaped for application to body parts; and contain an active agent (A) in powder form or in a lipophilic or hydrophilic ointment base. (A) are: (1) antibacterial agents selected from surfactants, halogens, penicillins, local antibiotics (i.e. bacitracin, tyrothricin, colistin or polymyxin B), aminoglycosides (i.e. neomycin, kanamycin or gentamicin) and dexpanthenol; (2) agents for combating sports injuries such as tears, contusions or bruises selected from heparin and herbal agents (e.g. drugs, tinctures or horse chestnut extract); (3) antiinflammatories for combating pruritis and allergic reactions of the skin, selected from herbal agents (e.g. camomile, arnica, drugs or tinctures), antihistamines (i.e. promethazine, clemastine or terfenadine), glucocorticoids (i.e. cortisone, cortisol or triamcinolone acetonide), phenol-methanal-urea condensate sodium salt, zinc oxide and silicon dioxide; and/or (4) antiinflammatories for combating acute or chronic inflammatory dieases of the respiratory tract, selected from mint, menthol, cineole, camphor, methyl paraben and propyl paraben. An independent claim is included for conventional plasters (e.g. white, skin-colored, transparent, colored or patterned; round, rectangular, oval or elongated, optionally with rounded ends; optionally air-permeable; in various sizes and shapes for particular body parts), which contain an active agent (A') in powder form or in a lipophilic or hydrophilic ointment base, where (A') is defined as for (A) but with the exclusion of antibcterial agents.
