<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a driving force control device for a vehicle when starting. <P>SOLUTION: This driving force control device for a vehicle is provided with a target acceleration/deceleration setting means S4 for setting target acceleration/ deceleration (α*<SB>w</SB>) of the vehicle on the basis of the driving condition of the vehicle, a feed-forward compensating unit 31 for outputting feed-forward operation quantity T*<SB>p-ff</SB>, I*<SB>p-ff</SB>to the vehicle on the basis of the target acceleration/ deceleration, a feedback compensating unit 33 for outputting feedback operation quantity T*<SB>p-fb</SB>, I*<SB>p-fb</SB>to the vehicle on the basis of a differenceΔα<SB>w</SB>between estimated acceleration/decelerationα<SB>w</SB>of the vehicle estimated on the basis of the wheel speed V<SB>w</SB>of the vehicle and the target acceleration/decelerationα*<SB>w</SB>, and an operation quantity setting means S13 for setting operation quantity T*<SB>p</SB>, I*<SB>p</SB>to the vehicle on the basis of the feed-forward operation quantity and the feedback operation quantity.
