<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage separation means without clogging in a refuse container capable of separating and discharging sewage oozed from refuse. <P>SOLUTION: In this refuse container 1, a drainboard 14 is hinged to the inside of a container body 2 through the slight clearance S thereof from the inner peripheral wall of the container body 2, and an openable drain port 12 is formed at the bottom part of the container body 2. A hole is not formed in the drainboard 14, there is no possibility of clogging.
