<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute highly versatile and highly efficient coding capable of simple replacement with a rectangular moving picture coding system without requiring pre-processing. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor is provided with a moving image input means for inputting a moving image composed of a plurality of frames, an image selecting means which selects a frame as a background image and an arbitrary shape image from among the inputted moving images, a frame selecting means which selects a frame for executing object cutting-out from the background image in a plurality of the inputted moving images, and a selected frame feeding-out means for feeding out the selected frame. The background image and the arbitrary shape image are selected from among the frames to be continuously inputted.
