PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting element package which allows extraction efficiency of emitted light to be improved and has satisfactory contrast even in the outdoors. SOLUTION: The organic light emitting element package comprises a pair of electrode 2, 6 opposed on a substrate 1; an organic light emitting element where an organic compound layer comprising at least an organic light emitting layer 4 is sandwiched between the pair of electrodes 2, 6; and a housing 7 to house the organic light emitting element in the internal housing space. The light emitted from the organic light-emitting element is emitted through the light extraction side of the housing 7 to the outside.
