PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection fitting which ensures a predetermined pull-out resistance without increasing the beam depth, when a large pull-out resistance is required at a connection portion between columns and a beam, to thereby achieve superior productivity and workability, and to provide a connection structure between the columns and the beam which uses the connection fitting. SOLUTION: The connection fitting 1 consists of a plate portion 12 which has through holes 121 formed therein, and a pipe portion 13 which has a halved portion 14 having a half-moon cross section, formed at one end thereof and allows the plate portion to be connected to the other end thereof, in a manner forming a battledore. Then the plate portions 12 of the connection fittings 1a, 1b are fitted into slits formed in end faces of the columns 3, 4, respectively, and the pipe portions 13 are fitted into respective mortises 51 formed in the beam 5, whereby the upper-layer column 3 and the lower-layer column 4 are connected together via the two connection fittings 1a, 1b. The pipe portions of the respective connection fittings 1 are coaxially aligned by combining the halving portions 14 with each other, and at least one bolt 22 is inserted into a through hole 131 penetrating through both the halving portions 14, whereby both the connection fittings are fixed to the beam 5.
