PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rise and fall shade which can securely shield incident light through a window. SOLUTION: Between brackets 9, 9 set near the upper edge of a window frame 5, a cylindrical movable member 10 which approaches/leaves the upper edge of the window frame 5 and a cylindrical support member 11 which is closer to indoor side than the movable member 10 are attached, and the movable member 10 is pressed to the upper edge of the window frame 5 and a shade 3 is held/fixed between the movable member and the upper edge of the window frame 5. The lower section 3<SB>1</SB>of the shade 3 is hung from the upper edge of the window frame 5 in a state close to the window frame 5 and securely shields the incident light through a window 8. The upper section 3<SB>2</SB>of the shade 3 is hung over the support member 11 and hung at a position apart from the upper edge of the window frame 5 on the indoor side.
