The invention relates to a multilayer plain bearing, comprising a support layer ( 2 ) and a plain layer ( 1 ) joined thereto, whereby said plain layer ( 1 ) contains polytetrafluoroethylene fibres and polyethersulfone fibres, which are provided with a resin. Said plain layer ( 1 ) contains at least one plied yarn layer ( 3 ), which is mixed with an epoxy resin ( 4 ) and constituted of a plurality of plied yarns ( 3 ), which are arranged according to a predetermined pattern. Each plied yarn ( 3 a, 3 b) comprises at least one first constituent, made from a preliminarily plied polytetrafluoroethylene/polyethersulfone mixed fibre yarn and at least one second constituent, made from a preliminarily plied polyethersulfone fibre, whereby said at least two constituents are plied together to form said plied yarns ( 3 a, 3 b).
